Advice for E63 Tuning/Mods

I am considering getting 20" wheels (255/30/20, 285/25/20 tires) to replace OEMs, and then an exhaust system from KKS, also chip tuning (+35ps according to their website) from KKS. Here are my questions and appreciate any feedback, many thanks:
1) Will my acceleration/handling actually be worse off than before? The new wheels (most likely HRE 590 or 890) should weigh more than OEMs I assume.
2) Is $1700 Euros too expensive for a +35ps gain?
3) I don't want to mod the car too much. Anything minor I can add to the list? i.e. filters?

I don't know about 20's. My 19's ride pretty rough, but I do have NT05's on them. Stiff as hell sidewalls. They might slow it down a tick, but it's not like these cars are lightweights to begin with. I've never heard anything about KKS, but given our wacky exchange rates, 1700 Euro doesn't sound awful. I doubt you'll get all 35, but most tunes do give a lot more torque that you can definitely notice. I think being a Euro spec car, you have no charcoal filters and better airboxes than us, so I don't think filters will do a whole lot for you either. You could throw a new crankshaft pulley on with the tune if anyone is making those over there. Should grab about 5hp with that...Good luck with the car. .!!

I "think" every car but US is Euro Spec...I could be wrong, but our emissions crap is ridiculous over here so it's usually just US cars...

Thanks, the GT3 might be a pipe dream, but god it would be a sweet track car..!!

For those who are curious, below is the link to KKS. I chose them because they can make the exhaust with dual tones.

What ever u do with rims make sure weight is considered . Of course if u are increasing weight it will kill performance .One piece wheels are the lightest u will find and if u have alot of $$$$ to spend look at the Dynamags.

Exhaust cuts out ? I dont think so . If u wanna be loud and noticed then do it but i do not think it is the right way to go .

If you want to pick up HP do the Evosport long tube headers with hi flo cats . If u want more GROWL do away with the resonator and put straight pipe .

my tricycle
Having experience with the HRE 593's on my car in 20's, I can say it rides a bit rougher then stock wheels and tires. However, even with the 20's I had the suspension on sport 2 because I thought the suspension wasn't "stiff" enough for my liking.

BTW, my HRE's are for sale.

FKIM011, I live in Asia so not sure if I can take them off your hands. Can you tell me the tire size/offsets you ran with the 593s? Can you post some pics? Thanks. So noone's had any experience with KKS exhausts? I saw some videos on youtube with M3/6 and VW R32 with these exhausts and they sound great. Just what i was looking for. There are some videos of AMGs with KKS exhausts but a bit disappointing. Anybody know why they sound so different on these cars?

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
Just to be sure...

isn't a 255/30 pushing it a bit in the front, especially if the ride height is a bit lower? I was thinking the 245/35 was preferred..yes, I know it's very close.

Box986, do you live near Da-Zhi? I've seen a white one every so often where I live. That white one looks really awesome! Have you heard of "Jenny Motors"? They're the authorized agent for both HRE wheels and KKS products, thought I'd get my mods done all in one place instead of going to different dealers.
