Nice! I cannot tell from the pictures how well they are done but they appear to be good. How did you do them? Spray can stuff or painting?

I am having mine done on Wednesday at a shop and will post pictures up. Also, the emblems black, grille, hood vents, and rotors bright red with black AMG logo.

I used VHT Nightshades which is rattle can. Third set of lights I have done and they have all come out pretty good. You must do thick coats so you get a nice shine rather than matte.

I would do the tails myself but I am a chicken and do not want have to buy a new set if I screw mine up. Plus, I am only being charged $80 for all three painted professionally. I hope mine turn out like yours like a deep cherry color instead of blacked out.

Just be careful not to get them too dark. I was in Arizona last week following a Tahoe and with the sun hitting them I couldn't even see his brake lights till I was stopped 5 feet behind him.

Yeah, in Arizona there are many idiots who even with the crappiest cars just murder out everything including the lights which make for dangerous conditions for drivers behind such vehicles. What can we do but avoid these people, right?

i have yet to see anyone tint just the white part. not the red. i think that might look a bit classier, like the SL AMG's

Somewhere on the e55 forums there are some pictures of a car that had just the white smoked and not the red. I came across it a while back but do not know the specific thread.

Funny thing, I was in Gilbert. I saw one E55, license plate started with ABH, but I thought it was tectite gray.

Looks great my friend i had my tectic gray E55 done like that just the white and i love it, now i need to get the turn signals done on my mirrors. But either way you go they still look good as long as you don't go to dark on them.

I have been debating about tinting my tails. If I was to tint my tails I would like to paint my grill back as well. Looks good though on your car.

Thanks guys. I agree that too dark might be dangerous. I like a dark cherry look personally.

Not sure if it will be the next one but once the weather gets a little better I am going to try to make a few trips down and catch some meets. I went down to a meet in Loveland at the end of last summer and had an absolute blast. Was the first time I have seen more than 3 euros in the same place. Lol. Although there were only 2 MB's including me. Lots of cool people to talk to.

Ah, I think that is the one place in the state that I have never been to. I was wondering how many AMG's were here. Have never seen any. Probably due to the fact that we don't have any MB dealerships. What color is yours? You mod it at all?

Mine has 20x10s and 285s for more traction. I have some stereo mods and a built-in Escort radar/laser diffuser/detector. Lets see, Sirius and bluetooth as well. Pano roof, keyless go, active ventilated/heated seats. Euro nav head unit...that is about all I can think of now.
