TIRE SIZING HELP

I just picked up some brand new Iforged 20s with the following custom imensions:20x8.5 +32 offset 20x10 +35 offset.
My question is I am getting ready to buy some 285/25 20s and some 245/30 20s. The car is getting a Renntech ELM installed and I want to make sure these tires are gonna work with no issues. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Those are the correct size tires for the W211 chassis, both with respect to overall tire diameters and load capacties. Your only other "correct" configuration would be to run 255/30/20's at all four corners, but the diameter of these is just over 26", so you're then even further above the stock diameters of 25.7" front and 25.3" rear. The effect of running a larger diameter tire is to numerically lower the effective rear end gear ratio of the car (which some believe is too low as is from the factory). Going with even taller tires, as some have done (think S class sizes) really exacerbates the gearing probem (can you say turning your car's acceleration into sluglike performance for the sake of pothole protection?).

Any other 20" tire size other than those listed above is simply wrong for the W211 chassis, regardless of whether the tire can be mounted on a wheel or the wheel/tire on the car. If the 245/30/20 and 285/25/20 don't clear the car's undercarriage and/or suspension components, the problem is with the wheels you've purchased, not the tires.

you're right on...standard w211 tire sizing for 20's. Those offsets will allow you to tuck and not rub if desired

just for reference, I'm running

20x9 +20 235/30/20
20x10.5 +32 265/30/20

front fenders shaved/pulled
rear fenders rolled/pulled

There is always the poke and stretch method... 20x10 with 30et with a 245 tire and make it have the rim look as if it's rolling w/o tire-- think miata lowered with white wheels and a whole lot of negative camber---jk---looks only good on rice burners 

I ordered a set of Falkens, but I think I got scammed. Has anyone ever heard of tires-easy.com. My credit card company called and said there were 3 different charges totaling the amount I was quoted.

Not to thread jack or anything and given the title of the thread, I had a quick question myself and don't feel the need to create another thread. Since emoving got his question answered by many knowledgeable ppl, I'm hoping he wouldn't mind me asking mine.

So the setup I'm going for is 19x8.5 front and 19x10 rears. Now I want to run 255/35/19 in the front and 295/30/19 in the rear. I know ppl that have 285/30/19 in the rear and they say that there's still some room for more. Given my setup, would I be able to run those tire sizes without rubbing or will I run into problems? My car is not dropped btw.

285/25 20s and 245/30 20s is what I ran on my 20" Iforgeds. I was pretty low

I used Nitto Invo tires, the price was good and they have a little bit of a lip protector as well. Car felt very nice on them, even in the rain.
