Those wheels really should have come stock on our cars!
Simply stunning.
It seems the older I get the less I like aftermarket wheels...even my forged ones...strange.

Hi Marcus are these 10" in the rear or 9.5???Looks so damnnn flush...
I get PMs fairly often about my car with these wheels and although I thought I posted them on here, it appears I have not. I think I did post them in response to another thread, but I think it may better help everyone who searches for this to have it's own thread. Without further ado...

Wow everyone, I am humbled and flattered by the reaction... I honestly was not expecting it. These wheels were to get the exactly the look people mentioned... that OEM, yet "upgraded" look. I did not want big lips or anything too flashy, and I think these wheels really fit the flow of the car.
To answer a few questions:
These are OEM from my 65, with no spacers. The SL and CLS share offsets, but so does the E - however the SL and CLS can run more width than the E-Class.
Yes, my car is lowered via STAR.
Thanks again for all the nice comments... we've been working on her a lot lately trying to get this IAT issue sorted and hopefully will have something this week... I'm really looking forward to finally get my car to it's full potential for the summer. Have my fingers crossed.

I have these wheels as well on my e55. I have 275 30 19 PS2 tires right now, but I am looking at getting new rear tires. I am looking at the Toyo and Nitto tires and I wanted to know if you can go 285 30 19 on these. What size and brand of tires are you running. Great looking car!

I've heard good things about Hankook EVO's (good dry/wet performance and great price point) but I personally have had good experiences with both the Toyo and Nitto high performance brands on my E55.

thanks Jon.
I have 245 35 19 on the front. They seem to fit great.
I think I will try 285 in the rear this time around.

Good information. I am getting ready to pick up an 05 E55 next week and am looking into wheels...the best ones I have seen so far are the SL65s. Looking for advice as to; where to purchase, part numbers, and tire sizes used that don't rub on the E55. Anything you folks can provide to hep would be greatly appreciated.

...the offset on Marcus's looks perfect...but does it rub...if not, what brand/size tires is he running? What are the part numbers and specifications of the SL65 wheels (look like different offset than the same stly e made for the E55...those seem to be tucked in further)
