Engine Trouble Shooting

I need some help trouble shooting an issue that has been intermittent on my 05 E55. In the morning i have a short commute to the railroad station. After I parked the car this morning I noticed some steam coming out from the grill area while the car was idling. I was a bit concerned and investigated. Oddly enough it was coming out from the right side intake tube. After further investigation I noticed it was coming out of the left one also but not as much as the right.

I thought it was very strange and not good at all. The car drives fine with no hesitation or smoke out the exhaust. It doesnt smell like burning antifreeze and is white in color. I did notice it on previous occasions but at the time didnt realize it was the intake tubes. I called Mercedes who seemed a bit stumped also.

Do i have a serious issue on my hands? Is it the blower? Any ideas?

Interesting. It was drizzling and I did give it a good bath two days prior and didnt drive it until then. I just dont see how water can get in the intake tubes since they are sloped down. Further how could plastic heat up enough to create steam?
