So,i'am putting on some new wheels this weekend and need to hear from you guys what size i should go with.
19's or 20's???I know the 20's will look better,but i would like to keep some what a civilized ride comfort.

What do you Guys think?

 

What do you want more of. Performance or Looks.

If you want more performance then looks ===> 19's

If you want more looks then performance ===> 20's

If you want the best of both. Get the 20's and switch to 18's when you want to have some fun.

 

Do what I did in a year and a half: 19 then 20 then 20 then 19 then 20 lol

I used to do that,but now i have to stick with one set of wheels.
So,i want looks and comfort over performance.

 

Honestly bro, I was looking at my 20's today and I realized that they are too big for the car. I sat in front of the crib for like 20 min staring at the ride and the wheels look good but I think a 19' with a slight drop is the way to go.

I think I'm gonna slap on those Carlssons and drop my ish this weekend.

 

i have 225 40 r18 and ride comfort is good....

on 20s i think that rock hard ride is too much

and on the clk because it is smaller car 19 will be great!!!!

I bent my forged 20s SEVEN times in 4 months. Yep, 7 times on California roads. This was with extra load tires as recommended by MB. They looked great, but the ride was miserable and the maintenance was beyond belief as one of them was always at the shop.
At least 20" tires were cheap. I am back on stock 18s and enjoy the ride and piece of mind.

 

I went from 20" wheels to 19" wheels, and although the car looked so nice with the bigger wheels, the ride now is incredible, and it isn't like the Monolites look bad.

Which set??? I've had a few sets of 18's, 19's and 20's. Take your pick.

 

With the appropriate tires, I don't think 20s are too big, especially with lips. If 19s, get one without lips and the look/relative sizing-wise will be similar to 20s with lips.

Not A LOT more but it will be more comfortable because you have more sidewall to play with.

If you're really on the fence why not run 19s (f) and 20s (r) ?

 

What would be the benefit? In doing so, you cannot maintain similar diameters and sidewalls between fronts and rears.

 

He wants 20s but he also wants 19s.
A lot of people run a smaller series tire on their rears anyways.
That set up was popular a while back. IMO most cases only 2 doors can really pull it off though.
