I guess you would have purchased a GTR if you thought the opposite was true.
Is this the car you raced? http://www.nagtroc.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=38459
Thanks Jason, the platform seems to be a magnet for guys pushing the limit. Unfortunately, I am not one of them.
Good riddance...... the board was getting a little too busy.

Hey Jim, I did not realize Cobb was next to you. I would guess that 70% of GTR owners have an Accessport.
I kept replying, " If it's gonna blow, it's gonna be with my foot on the floor, not watching from a grandstand seat!"
At one point, they were like, "Do you know who we are?". I really didn't have a clue how well known they were.
The dyno was super nice (never booked time) and I have since apologized for not understanding the power of Cobb. They were super cool about it and wanna check out the beast in depth someday.

I think I have some in the "E55 picture thread" plus I am too lazy to copy and paste.
A near death experience will make anyone more serious. Glad to see you survived.
As for the GTR and daily driving, I think it fails miserably in that department. It makes way too many mechanical noises and for some reason I never really feel relaxed (like I do in the RS4 or E55) when driving the car. Maybe I don't feel relaxed because if I'm not shifting the dual clutch up and down I'm playing with all the gadgets inside the car. The thing also attracts constant attention from every walk of life (probably because there are so few in my area). I would not feel comfortable leaving it parked at work. An awesome car to drive for fun but I can think of countless cars better suited for DD.
