After Market door pins

So i ordered some Door Pins from E-bay,with the AMG Logo, looke pretty nice. The thing is,they don't fit. They are too thick to just screw in,and if you take off the oem ring that sits around the oem door pin, then the chrome rings they provided you with don't fit in there
They said it was for a W211
Also on the rear doors the pin rings are egg shaped, and there's no way you can out these aftermarket round ones instead.

Has anyone changed out their door pins?
These are the ones i got.

No,not carbon fiber.
I really need some help on this because one of my pins is missing, and i don't know where to get the correct ones, but some that look better then the OEM pins.

I would think they would be easy to install unless they sent you the wrong ones. It is also common as you probably know that many of the aftermarket parts you buy off eBay are not perfect fits, but they should at least go in.

Below are cf pins

Door pins

I had the same issue. I ordered 2 different sets, one from ebay and one from another vendor. Neither fit. I found another set on ebay and the guy lived around the corner from me, so he came over and we test fit them and they worked just fine. His door pins are slimmer and fit right into the oem holes with no modifications. Just screw them in. They are the ones mentioned above by mikey33 on ebay (bmerparts).

NOOOOOOOOO!!!! Brate!! I have the SAME pins sitting in the trunk of my car! They DO NOT FIT!!!! That POS from china says they fit but they dont. I even sent that guy a message saying that they dont fit and he should edit the listing to say WILL NOT FIT E CALSS but he did'nt. He will tell you to send it bac for a full refund but it'll cost you more to ship back then the part actually costs.

They look sick and I got hot on them right when I saw them. Too bad its another piece of sh-t ebay pruduct from the peoples Republic.

I had the same problem. And it does cost more to ship them back than the pins themselves....

Either way I got some aluminum pins from formymercedes.com and they look and fit perfect. They are a sponsor here on the forums and in the states so it's legit. Great service!

I'd recommend getting a set from them.

The ones from formymercedes.com didn't work on my car. The vendor (Gerald) was very cool and I ended up keeping them instead of sending them back, but I didn't install them. I don't know if mine were different or what, but I didn't want the chrome surround, only the door pin. Maybe if you pull out the oem surround and install the chrome one, they work, but I didn't want to do that. The ones from bmerparts on ebay worked for me. The guy literally lives 5 minutes from me and I wouldn't have bought them unless I tried them first to make sure they fit. He brought them over and they fit perfectly.

They are around $50 per pin. Price really depends on what dealership you buy it from.

For E Class, the 0007660228 is for the front and 0007660328 is for the rear.

Available for $56.00 per pin from Genuine Mercedes Parts.

Are you sure it's per SET? I think that price is per pin since the box only contained one pin per part number.

From information I gathered from a different forum, it was per set. I guess if the box only contains one pin, then it is, indeed, each...
