Steering buttons to flappy pad upgrade - help

I have an upgraded steering wheel but the silver buttons were transferred over and are standard, Can I upgrade the silver buttons to the new small flappy pads type buttons which the new upgraded sports steering wheels have?

Paddles need to be modified in order to work. It takes some deconstruction/reconstruction, additional electronic components and you have to do some trimming to the holes on the steering wheel.

Really, surely there is a modified button with an extended lip on it rather than a standard button?

+1! Your write up along with BrianS's are the ish!!! Well done!

It took me close to 5 hours front to back to get my 63 paddles fitted into my new wheel, along with some help from a friend of mine to make them perfect but it was well WELL worth the time and trouble.

It's not at all a very hard mod to do, it just takes a lot of patience and A LOT of grinding.

You'll love the results in the end I promise

Yes I have just read them, hoping that the part number for the paddles is still 1712670046 from 2008 post?
