What's the temperature gauge on the right?

Is the temperature gauge on the right of the speedometer the current temperature of the engine?

My temp gauge increases by one bar lately. It used to constantly hover around 80 C, now it goes up and down 1 bar (10 C).

What's going on with my car? The car used to always hover around the middle even in extremely hot california weather.

It depends,
If you are at stand still the temp or the little bars might rise a little, but when you drive they should stay where they are.

thanks. I'm planning to order a larger HE and a CM30 pump. After that I should have constant temp, right? Also lower IAT with no S/C shutdown.

That's certainly the right path! I just have the updated MB Bosch pump with my current mods and I have yet to get the SC to cut off with numerous pulls back to back to back to 130mph+. We'll see how it goes as soon as it starts to heat up here in CO.

You may want to make sure your thermostat is working properly as well. That directly has an effect with how much coolant flows through the motor to cool it down.

Your car is beautiful BTW
