Little test with a best friend...
Yesterday I did a race with my dear friend ....
My mods are:
- Kleemann 168mm Pulley
- Klemann long headers with primary cat delete
- ECU tune by Dimensione Sport
- BMC Filters
- Renntech Race Mufflers
His mods are:
- Lightweight 161mm pulley (made in Germany by??)
- ECU by Redolfi
- K&N Filters
Our times (0-100km / h, 60-120, etc.) are identical ....
To do a real test we have also changed the car
I am very disappointed with the Kleemann kit!
In your opinion, what's the problem?
Sorry for my "google translate" english

sounds like a heat issue to me.
More boost = more heat and you have no cooling mods.
Would be interesting running the cars side by side when both are ice cold.
Other than that and possible pump going bad on ya, not really sure.

I do not know ...
The pump is new ... has been changed 10000km ago.
However we did race at night, so the temperature was low (10 ° C).
Possible that the tuner did a bad ECU?
From what I know? I have an OBD-scanner

Is this a canned ECU tune or a custom tune to account for the Kleeman pulley and headers? As the other forum members said, you can not immediately blame Kleeman for your dissatisfaction if the Kleeman ECU tune was not part of the kit.
They know there stuff and K1 kit consisting of larger pulley, filters, and ECU tune should work synergistically...having an outside tune may not work as well. Also, as mentioned before you need to address the heat soak before modding any more...good luck.

I honestly do not know ...
The ECU is made with all the kit fitted, so ... in theory ... it's all right.
Tomorrow I meet with another friend who was like my kit, but with Kleemann ECU.
In my opinion the problem is the weight pulley

kleemann tunes are some of best out there so there no reason not to have their software if you already have their hardware, and i'm speaking from experience!
air injection pump malfunction is not the same as having the reflash so i'm not sure that's the problem and cat codes are expected with primary cats removed. what kind of pump did you get for your replacement?

I know that Kleemann is one of the best!
Unfortunately I bought the kit from a seller (also the original eprom Kleemann), but only after I discovered that my checksum was different from the checksum Kleemann eprom ... and then I had to program the EPROM from the tuner who installed the other pieces.
You ask the pump ... I was talking about the intercooler pump that had broken before mounting kit

I have driven both E 55 with the pulley 161 Redolfi STAGE 1 and Kleemann Stage 2 Stage 1 and 2. I confirm that the Kleemann Stage 2 should be equal to Redolfi kit stage 1. The difference is the weight of the pulley, go to the AMS site it is a pulley manufacturer and you can understand

sometimes yes...but sometimes the secondary cats still don't get hot enough to burn off enough leftover fuel to keep the cel from coming back.
