I do not think so. I just believe the parts was updated to be more efficient or to brake less often. Correct me if I am wrong, I am just recalling what a MB mechanic told me.

older versions don't have it.
if you are talking about extra water intercooler. than our E/CLS doen't have it.
BUT the S/G55k has it. and their small below H/E input is from the right side & output from the left side. unlike the E/CLS which the input/output of coolant water are both from the left side(passeger).
