Hi everyone! I am looking for an intercooler upgrade for my e55.
Where ever I look, I see brands and cooling kits which are priced above 2.500$ in average. Dont want to make a mistake wasting a huge amount of money on a wrong thingy. .
If there is any experience to share, I need a good cooling kit. Help please

 

I assume you mean the heat exchanger( the part in the bumper) The intercooler is under the Super charger. Depending on your year www.frozenboost.com has a budget minded HE on there web site. they are universal and you will have to "make it fit". In the world of mercedes if you want Pre made "mercedes" parts better whip out the check book but if you like to wrench and have a DIY mentality then there are lots of venders that would love to help you. Check out Witzer's HE and Johnson pump deal. He sells the combo for pretty cheap.
I just picked them up and got it installed and couldn't be more happy.
