remove 2nd cats?

Do i really need them -- they are overkill -- my car runs super clean - so, I am not worried about smog --

I will lose some kgs but will i lose too much pressure -- will I lose my low end torque -- will i gain anything?

My friend has a guy who will do it cheap - So, i am considering it -- my car runs super strong as is -- with my mods - I am in the +600hp crank range.

So, I know from past threads this has been a questionable mod -- who has experience -- and more specific -- how will it effect a car with my mods -- small pulley - short headers - TB bore - tune - and those little things in my description.

You won't even notice a difference! Only in sound! Some say you gain 20hp, But I think its a bunch of bull. I had my second cats and res deleted with straights for a $100 bucks. Just makes the car a little louder under WOT. You can notice the slightest difference inside the car...barely.

well - if i wont notice it -- than that means i wont notice any losses -- So, for the lost of weight and slight sound -- i may do it -- and possible hp or 2 i may gain

waiting for other feedback -- even if it is the same

I just removed my secondary cats yesterday and put straight pipes. Definetly cant notice power loss or power gain using the butt dyno.

What about replacing primaries with racing cats? Will this get you some power? And if so, which ones seem to work best?

Racing cats are not cheap -- i think i rather just take a pair out... my friend has no cats -- maybe he lost some back pressure -- hard to tell because he makes so much power and did his mods at the same time.
