Quick Question About Extended Warranty Prices
All,
Buddy of mine is looking to buy a 2006 CLS55 AMG with 28K miles on it but wants to get an extended warranty. He'd like a 5 year/100,000 mile warranty on it, so what company would you all recommend and what price should he expect to pay?
Thanks.
Alex

Probably be around $4k I would guesstimate. He can get a quote right there.

I just got a warranty from Mercury. 5- years, or 85k miles for $3,000 & ZERO deductible.
I have same car, 2006 CLS55 with 29k miles.
I posted about it in the Chrysler warranty thread. It was extremely easy to get.

Alex,
I just got quotes from a bunch of companies. I talked to Mike at ChryserFactoryplans.com and was quoted $2800 with a $200 deductible for 5 years 60k miles. If you get it before the factory warranty expires, you don't need an inspection. You get all your work done at MB with all MB parts, guaranteed. No wear and tear clause like with third party warranties. Give him a call, he's a great guy and since he's close to me, we really hit it off (does that sound too gay?).
