I'm still trying to find a mercedes for my self, this forum helped me alot on which ones to buy, and which ones to stay away. I came across this car 2001 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG, with 108K miles, $12K. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

I saw this E55 before and looks great. The price $12K hopefuly still negociable. W210 E55 is cheaper to maintain compare to W211. You shold post this thread in W210 area. Make sure no oil leaking as he mentioned. And no vibration when you ride between 50 -70MPH. Also might need to change SPlug. GLuck !

coming from a w210 55 and just in general any car with mods both engine and cosmetic is something you better go look at in person before u pull the trigger on it just my opinion. good luck. All though the W210 E55 is bullet pretty damn strong.
