As of today, May 20th, 2010, our organization will no longer be offering the Chrysler Service Contract for MB vehicles. Please direct any questions or comments to info@factoryplans.com. All prior/pending sales are valid and will be honored by Chrysler Corporate. Direct inquiries to Chrysler may be made by calling (800) 521-9922. mc
With that said, whats the next best? Where can we get a good warranty?? Now i'm kicking my self in the booty for not jumping on this while it was still around.
Share your thoughts on a good AF warranty PLEASE!!!

I'm assuming that Michael's company no longer offers MB warranties. I can still get a quote from the website. I emailed them to confirm.

Now Chrysler is not offering the warranty for MB, what other choices do we have?

You can go directly through Mercedes or the more expensive option: EasyCare. Also, you can check with your local dealership if they've worked with any good aftermarket companies especially ones that are easy to work with.Originally Posted by Ckim1021

I just called easy care but it is too expensive. It is much more than MB extended warranty.

Lots of sloppy assumptions being made here.
Who has evidence DC is no longer offering service contracts ?
The fact that Michael Case's organization no longer is has nothing to do with the question

I imagine that Chrysler finally got wise and realized the money that they were losing with their Benz warranties

now that Chrysler doesn't offer this anymore.
What company's are you guys buying your extended warranties from?

What I find particularly amusing is that people STILL think extended warranties are a "gamble" - this obviously shows that even at $3000-$4000 extended warranties are LOSING propositions for warranty providers, imagine what these cars can be for people with absolutely no warranty!
I am happy to say:
'05 E55 w/ extended warranty until 2012 or 100k
'05 SL65 w/ MB extended care until 2012 or 100k
'09 G55 w/ MB CPO until 2013 or 100k

She said that it rate will go up if I pass 36000 mile mark.
For 4 years 75,000 miles with $250.00 deductible $5100
For 3 years 75,000 miles with $250.00 deductible $4463
20% down and 12 month interest free payment option.
My SA told me that with easy care, they can use used parts(if they can find it)
ELW(MB warranty)
7 years with 75000 miles=$3850.00
They only use new OEM parts and no deductible but it is not bumper to bumper coverage like easy care. Only major repairs are cover with ELW and no financing with ELW

So far easy care and ELW(MB warranty) Originally Posted by AKxSpyO

I am leaning towards ELW just because it is cheaper and no deductible.

Good thing I got in on a 5 year in January! 1 week after buying my 5 year warranty for $2900 I had my car in for service and the bill was $2600, so I am basically riding it free for the next five years. Highly recommend it to everyone if you do not want to go bankrupt!

I'm in the same boat as you, I have an 07 E63. There is no cheap way out of this. Easycare may be the way to go, even at $600 over the MB warranty. Many non-major repairs can be big $$$ with our cars. Do you know what the definition of "major repairs" is? Don't the local MB dealers sell third party warranties like fidelity? They did when I bought my car from the MB of Anaheim.
I'm in OC too, maybe we can get a deal for 2 warranties.

companies that provide warranties, make money ... otherwise there wouldnt be so many of them,
for every 1 guy that has issues with there car and uses their warranty, there are 2 people who forget they have the warranty, and 4 people who baby their cars and never need to use the warranty
both of my parents -- in there 60s -- have extended warranties on their cls 500, audi a4, and both BMWs -- they rarely claim anything on these warranties
its like buying insurance ... and alot of times these companies roll them up into large products and sell them from one warranty company to another -- all depends on who is underwriting
this chrysler service contract is unusual in this mercedes market, ive owned my 03 e55 for a few months and my warranty has paid for its self 3 times over. its crazy if you think about it ...
i bought the car with 29k on the clock since 03, that is like 5k a year, if you can afford a 90k car and your driving it 5k miles a year, your probably babying it and taking care of it no one wants to see there 90k "investment" beat up. so when i buy it and take it over to get inspected at the MB dealer, of course its going to be in top shape.
then i turn around and put 12k miles on it in 3 months ... there are going to be issues ... makes sense
furthermore to have an unlimited mileage option ... on an AMG very rare.
and the inspection form ... take a look, its not too intense

I just called Chrysler and they still offer warranty for MB. However it is not cheap. 4years with unlimited miles is $4635 with $200.00 deductible.
3years is $4255.

ELW is good for low mile car. I put about 7-8,000 miles and he thinks that this will be best option for me. And they do not have deductible.
He said that if i wanted to get easy care, he can help me get discount but not much.

music to my ears,
they are doing the math, at what the average warranty costs them, jacking that up by $500 and selling them
my advise, go with the Chrysler Service Contract, never had an issue
