Pulled the trigger on another E55
Pulled the trigger on another E55
Not necessarily new to the forum but I have been away for awhile due to selling my last AMG 3 years ago. A few weeks ago though, I saw this beautiful E55 for sale and I had to pick it up. I'm really happy with the color as well; it is Teallite Blue metallic code 353U and I have not seen many E55's in this color. For now it is stock, minus the wheels that I just purchased from a member on this forum a week ago for a great deal, but I do plan on going with the Kleemann stg 1 shortly.

Ha, good spot. The evo is the weekend fun car but it will be getting sold soon as it attracts too much negative attention from the police for being so loud with straight pipes, 35psi, and an open wastegate.

WOW, that blue is amazing!!
Never thought I would like it that much.
Tuning has jumped light years in the past couple years.
Certain tuners really putting out some good stuff!

Thanks for the positive feedback everybody.
I agree and another major difference that I noticed with the aftermarket selection is price. I recall a few years ago, a simple stg 1 or 2 was thousands more then it is now.

Thanks Mike for the quick work. Well, as it turns out, the true color is neither wedgewood blue nor Plat. blue, but instead Teallite Blue metallic, code 353U. Is this a rare color for the E55, I've never heard of it personally.
That's what I was thinking because it looks so close to the car in this thread here:
