RDS Setting in Euro Comand

What is the difference between the RDS Settings: 1. Standard RDS and 2. RDS with Reg Sets? For some reason, my Comand will only set option 2. I can try to set option 1 but then it thinks about it and then sets itself to option 2.

I do see some station ids but no song info.

Can you guys with Euro Comands select Standard RDS? Does it matter?

No one has more info?

I now see sporadic song info. Could it be signal issues? Does RDS need a super clear signal?

I can select either of the two with no problem. I keep it on #1, but I really don't know the difference between the modes. Not all stations broadcast the information and those that do, sometimes just do the station identifier, while others broadcast song/artist info. in addition to the identifier.

Thanks for the confirmation. There must be some weird software mismatch somewhere with mine. When I had the US Comand, i had it upgraded last year when I got the new nav disc. Hmmm...
