Those are going to be tricky to do in a single piece. It could be done, but the amount of time it takes will be quite a while. You'd most likely would want to do it in two sections/pieces.

I had a local guy recently ask me about doing his seats over here.

yeah they are tough...and I had never done anything like this...I messed it up ...I got a sheet of 36"x24" for each seatback...after I messed up the first I slaveaged what I could and didn't use the second sheet at all...

I think there is enough material leftover, and I can get another 36x24 as well, but each seat back may need to be done like you said in 2 adjoining pieces. That would be great if you were coming to the east coast...I dunno anyone here that can do this in DC/MD/VA, and shipping these to/from the west coast woruld me really $$$..if you do know a good installer here please let me know or if you come out here then let me know...like I said I tried and failed but I gave it a shot, now it's time to get a pro to do it right and be done with it

Vinyl wrapped the roof of this E60 BMW 550i in gloss black material.

I know almost all of my pictures of white cars, but I must admit, they do look the best on white cars. Although, I do wish cars of other colors would come by to get it done, and add a little bit more of variety, haha.

Yes, I took some pictures of it. I'll try to find them and post it up. It's very grill dependent though. Some grill designs are too hard to properly wrap, while others allow for it.

Here's a white C300 Mercedes that I vinyl wrapped the roof in gloss black for. Note, the roof/side rails were already black, and so was the antenna.

I may mildly regret posting these pictures, but I had some people ask me if I've done it before, and to post pictures if I do/have. Well, here are pictures of an aftermarket Mercedes C class front grill that I vinyl wrapped in the 3M Di-noc carbon fiber material.

Now note, it's not really possible...actually let me rephrase that...it's not really practical to wrap some of the grills that are out there, due to its design and shapes. However, this one is one of those exceptions.

Sorry for the pictures, I didn't have much lighting, and had to use a flash to even get the weaves to show. Let me know what you guys think.

The main problem with the E55 grill are the smaller inner slats of the grill. It doesn't provide a lot of surface area for the material to get a real good grip/bond to. It is possible, but very time consuming. I'd sell materials to those who wanted to do their E55 grills, but I do not personally do those.

Don...I would like for you to do two racing seats for me...the hardbacks. I have some material left from my attempt which did not go well.

How can we make this happen? You've done many many roofs and some other stuff, but these are a real challenge...I need your expertise for this project. Please help.

The only way I see this being possible is if you shipped the seats to me. What make/model are they.

I guess that could always be possible as well.

Do you have a picture of the backs at all? What part was hard for you as you were applying it?

Don't have pics off hand. They are Porsche 996TT sport seats made by Recaro as OEM to Porsche, sure if you did a google search you would find them easily. They are red in color with hard backs. I had never done this, the curved shape of the backs is where I messed up but that's probably easy for you having so much experience...this is not a project for a first timer...

Don they are not the Euro GT3 seats like the pic you posted/sent me...those already have cf...

I was talking about the factory 996tt seats, which come in lux or sport versions. the sport versions are made by Recaro for Porsche and have the hardbacks in either the interior color or the car's body color...

I know, that's why I deleted it, because I realized they were the GT3 seats.

I wasn't able to find pictures of the back specifically.

Here are some of the pictures of the tail lights that I vinyled over this weekend. Smoked/tinted the entire tail light on this BMW E60 535i. Yes, it is a film that I use, not spray/paint/etc.

Here are pictures of the tail lights that I tinted with a red vinyl film for on this Subaru WRX. I cut out the reverse/turn light pieces for him as well.

For those who don't know what these tails looked like before I tinted it, here's a stock picture for reference.

Blacked out the window trim on this E60 5 series with some matte black vinyl. They were originally chrome, and the owner wanted to get rid of them, to go with a more blacked out/murdered out look for his car. Everything is done in one piece, no seam lines anywhere, even on the rear doors where it curves downwards.

I forgot to take some before/after pictures, until I was half way done, so here's the best I have of a comparison of the chrome (bottom trim) compared to the trim that I wrapped (top trim) already in matte black.

Finished result:

Another fellow Orange County member on another forum that I am on came by with his white E60 BMW M5 to have his roof vinyl wrapped with the 3M di noc carbon fiber.

Here are some pictures that I took of it. Let me know what you guys think.

I had a car come by (E92 BMW 3 series coupe), to have me vinyl wrap his window trim with black vinyl to cover the chrome/aluminum finish. He had done one side, but decided that he wanted me to finish/wrap his other side. He had originally purchased some "matte black" vinyl from another competing vendor.

Note the differences in the finish between my vinyl and my competitors vinyl, and how my material actually has a black sheen/finish to it compared to theirs, which is almost a faded black or greyish color (this was brand new material, that the owner had just purchased/put on a week before). Also note, I did not do the install on this side of the window trim, as I do all of my window trim installs in a single continuous piece, without any seams.

Luckily for the owner of this car, I have several shades of black that I keep on hand, and was able to match the material he had already used. This saved him from having two different shades on either side of the car, or having to completely redo the window trim that was already done.
