One quick heads up Nait. Ken once told me that the codes may need to be cleared with Star and not just cleared with obd2 software. If she fails for the freaky codes, let me know and I can meet you somewhere and clear them with my Star.
Here's hopin it's not the case and she passes with flying colors.

Passed today, all 3 showed as "ready" after driving 120 miles over the weekend. Woohoo!
And my wheel bearing is going out. sigh. Guess I'll go drop the car off at the dealer.

Holy crap.
So it turns out that what I thought was wheel bearing noise.... is actually the rear diff.
Being replaced right now. Thank God for warranty.

Can someone PM the cell # for Jerry?
I ask because I believe I have a good cell # for him, but no responses yet from my several text messages and phone messages to him. I do not know if the cell # I have for Jerry is still good or if he has a new cell # now. Thanks ahead for any response.

11.79@124(?) mph (I'd have to go dig up the timeslip to confirm trap), but that was like two years ago. Car is back together now with a lot bigger injectors and a welded center diff.
It is also terrible to drive.
P.S. you should bring your E55 to the midnights next Friday. I hate the midnights but last week I showed up with a friend it got rained out so we are going again.

I didn't see any thugs last time. Mostly high school kids, actually. I got so embarassed at the crowds of kids gawking over my car that I had to lock it, run away, and hide out by the DSMers. I thought for sure there'd be a 997 or something else nice out there, but nope. Had a lot of fun walking up and down the line and seeing what rice has evolved to these days (it's almost gone!) while smoking a Davidoff. If I had known they'd allow you to smoke in the pits I'd have brought a humidor.
Also, apparently the replacement differential is an updated P/N (they got the diff in yesterday but the protective cover/bracket/whatever won't fit). Does this new diff have an LSD in it by chance? Or what's the difference between the old, original 2004 unit and the "updated" unit?

Can anyone answer this? I am thinking on having Eurocharge tune me back to stock to pass emission test then put tune back..but I was wondering if the 3 readiness codes could just be turned on and run same modified tune?

Search feature works great!
I'm facing the same issue. I have a 2009 LET tune on my E55, but I can't pass Smog due to the tune having O2 switch off.
I failed the Cat, O2 Sensor and o2 Heater system scans.
I'm contanting Jerry to have a new tune with O2 present, I doubt you will have to go back to stock.
Once the tune is back on, I will have to run the car about 1 week to get the o2 to register readings.
I was about to replace all 4 sensors, but I never got a "CEL" and that through red flags for me about my tune.

I had same issue last year I presume my tune had o2 turned off too cause they couldn't be read so Jake modified my tune and I drove about 100 miles and retested and passed

emailed Jerry and he we agreed to reflash the car, I'm also buying the PC cable for future tunes.
I hope kill 2 birds with 1 stone. I would like the newest stage 1 tune with less torque management and fix my SMOG issue.
so far, everything is going well. Probably will do the flash this week-end if everything works out with scheduling.

wakin this thread up.
guys this site is great have been lurkin on here for a while.
just picked up an 2003 e55 and it definately has a 77mm pulley, upgraded 010 pump and i would assume it has a tune. It came from Kentucky where there is no emissions test. I was rejected for the New Jersey emissions inspection due to the same problem: catalyst, O2, O2 heater not ready.
is there anyone on here that can help program my ecu?
Should i contact kleeman?
ive driven about 200 miles highway and the codes are still not ready for emissions . I check with an icarsoft mb v2.0
