So we get lots of AMG's in the shop. Build ranges are all over the board, from just a tune all the way to monster build. When those monster build happen, I'm just amazed at the power out put these 55k motors put out.
So a stock E55 came in for a RENNtech build. Parts included, 180mm pulley, ECU, 82mm throttle body, cooling kit (including pump), Shorty headers, and CF airbox. In the end the car made 535whp 580wtq after all was said and done. With all the cats intact.
IMO thats one beat of an E55, considering it was able to make that kind of power with stock cats and shorty headers. If I could just get one of these owners to hit the track with me for some runs...
What blows my mind even more. This car must have been sitting for a while because it had a nest of some sort inside the engine bay. No problem, clean out the next and make huge power![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
.
Man, It makes me want to start jumping on the mods ASAP, However I was advised to hold off on mods, until 30 days after I bought my extended warranty. I've got a few things on my SL that need fixing... I dont want to toss a red flag until I get those issues fixed.
Anyway here is the dyno chart.
