030 Performance package??

In looking at some used E63's I've found 3 in my area with the Performance package. It was an $8500 option but KBB doesn't have a check box or any resale value associated with them?

I know what's included with the package but am wondering what does the package typically add to resale value? Do owners find it a worthwhile addition? Does it adversely affect ride quality when on comfort mode?

Seems like it is worthwhile if for no other reason than LSD and rarity factor....

Doesn't add much, if anything, to the value of a used car. Makes sure you'll spend more on brake maintenance, though.

In terms of resale value, it adds something but very little.... I've seen dealers sell 030 cars for about 2 grand more than a similar non 030 car (although in a few rare instances, I've seen a couple of aggressive dealers actually charging 4 to 5 thousand more). It all depends on the buyer and the market at the time.

In terms of value, the 030 is well worth it. The suspension mods alone make the car handle better and feel so much more crisp around corners... not to mention the LSD . Also, the Alacantra steering wheel is thicker and feels so much better (even in normal driving) than the regular steering wheel.

The ride is noticeably stiffer although less so in comfort mode. I test drove a couple of E63s with and without the P30 option before I made my decision, and I actually preferred the P30 suspension. It is not for everyone, but once used to it, you just won't want to live without it

I wish they offer more suspension upgrades with the new P30 options for upcoming models
