Hey just curious on how this kit is holding up,how is part throttle driving feel like?can you baby it around town or does the supercharger kick in with very little throttle input?

Also what is your tps% fully warmed up in drive sitting at a light with your foot on the brake?and at what rpms does it idle in drive with the foot on the brake.

No, I could not say for sure there was difference in power. The biggest difference I noticed right away was the pronounced throttle cut back at part throttle shifts. I had a tune installed the following week and that brought the shifts back to a factory feel.
Now, though I could not feel a difference, the car is running strong and put down an ET/MPH to show it is working.

The t/b is working great [knock on wood]. The tune took care of any driving issues.
I took a pic of the scanner. Now that the colder air is coming in, I will check it again.

"annoyance" and "self-righteousness", amoung others...
A question from the other side of the forum.

I have a 2006 c350 (m272), and am in pursuit of the parts on the 09-10 SLK350 (which is the same m272 motor but with a handful of diff parts, leading to an additional 40+hp factory).

Anyway.

I knew the intake manifold was different (composite instead of aluminum for heat soak, larger single stage runner instead of dual stage, etc 2721403001) , so I was just going to purchase it... however I noticed the TB part # was also diff on the SLK. 2731410325.
Look familiar? It's the 82mm TB in question on this thread.

#1) Does anyone think the new intake manifold inlet area will only mate up to the 82mm, and not my lesser factory TB? (1131410125) <-- does anyone know how many mm my factory one is? I ask this because the intake manifold is reasonably priced by itself.

#2) Where's the cheapest place to buy the 82mm TB ($887.50 on MMP.com), and would there be any complications with the ECU? Can tuning and or just driving overcome these problems?

Thank you. I'll be the first to have ever done any of this in my part of the mbworld....world.

The 272.969 AKA at least the 09-10 SLK350 w/ M014 Perf Pkg

If you care to see for yourself using EPC, then use the following VIN from a 2009 SLK350:
1714581F190163

It carries the upgraded intake manifold over the other 350 cars such as the 272.960 AKA my 06 c350, the manifold in question which I just purchased.

The combination of the intake and TB allow for the powerband to continue thru the upgraded 7200 redline over the c350s 6500.

I just spoke w/ Issam and will be looking into buying his modified 82mm TB w/ appropriate adapter plate.

Until that time, I was curious to see if the stock TB I have (75mm??) carried the same bolt pattern as the MB OEM 82mm TB, so that I may be able to use my factory TB until I can upgrade....??

oh and a multitude of others, namely s550, e550, etc... plug the PN# into mymercedesparts.com and the 20 applications appear.
