Dyno numbers

Took my car to SlowMotion Motorsports in Sunbury, Ohio last week and had the caar dynoed on a Dynapack 8500. The car made 440 RWHP and 513 RWT this is SAE corrected too. Are these numbers in line for a stock 2003 E55? Sorry i have the dyno sheet but am not that computer savy. Also where would this put me in line with the Dyno-Jet and Mustang dyno's numbers wise? I plan on taking the car to the track but i am waiting on gettin my C service performed first.

2005 E55
that is a hub dyno right? I put down 471ftlb and 403whp stock on a dyno that reads like a dynojet.

I was also trapping 112-114 in the 1/4

Yeah it is the type that you take off the rear wheels and attach it to the hubs. I test drove another 2004 E55 and a 2005 SL55 and my E55 felt like it was the fastest of the 3.

Could be, belt condition and slippage play a huge role in these cars.

High Dynapak numbers have been a topic of debate but at many of the automotive enthusiast forums where I've been a member, the majority believe they read high. I can see why since you are measuring hub hp and not wheel hp. 440hp is very high for stock and if that number is accurate, you're very lucky. I will agree that it's the ideal dyno to tune with.

Yes it's reading way high, you're removing the heavy wheels/tires from the ENTIRE equation. You don't drive around w/OUT wheels/tires do ya? Just use it as others said for tuning before/after mods gains/losses, that's what it's made for...

I'll ONLY mention it because nearly ALL the Speedy Gonzales E55k members here ran @ same DynoDynamics @ Autowave, Alan & I both made 565 rwhp & Alan made @ that time 585-590 rwtq (correct me if i'm incorrect n' rwtq # bud) ALL on crappy 91 ecu tunes w/ZERO COOL DWN OR ICE IN Reservoirs...

My extra 100 odd rwtq was too much for the Acura shop's DynoDynamics bucking wildly so full pull was impossible in 1st couple thousand RPM's, best/cleanest pull showed almost 700 rwtq (NO NOT a TQ spike, an actual sustained 690-700 graph line)

These #'s are soon to be (4) mods ago (TCU) was tuned to perfection by Marcin/SPEEDRIVEN, now scheduled for MS109 hi-oct tune EZ another 30-35 rwhp, CAI is being totally redesigned, & Meth/Water Injection (ALL will be finished in next 2-4 wks..

Now good stuff went back to LOW reading DynoJet ( (2) stock C63 hit 345-355 rwp, tuned E63 w/Longtubes made 420-425 rwhp) I hit this Dyno sometime ago in 90+ degrees w/one lil' pissy lunchroom fan in Summer time... w/NO ECU/TCU, NO Dwn Pipes/ NO hi-flo cats/NO IC Reservoir box/ ONLY had mufflers removed & 1st simple randition of CAI, & 1 16oz can of Torco mixed into 1/4 t ank of 91 **** octane made 501 rwhp...

Went back multi-months later on MUCH cooler day arund 75 deg, after ALL mods were completed in my Sig except TCU tune, (all runs were done on my heavy **** 64-65 lb each 19" street setup wheels. We gave the SL full 45 min cool dwn w/2 bags of Ice on each IC, then dumped around 5-6 bags Ice in Res-box, & added pure 100 octane from local pump in LA, hit 633 rwhp... yes fun bragging but means nothing till I prove it dwn 1320' They didn't have a clue how to read TQ w/out trying to cut into 1 of my Plug wires, I refused (they guesstimated my rwtq on this run to be around 770-800 rwtq...

Soon, next week when I get my SL back it's going to be run on TRUE Sausage Shrinker DynoDynamics @ Gintani, 110% certain rwhp will be much lower but oddly enough the rwtq seems to be on par w/other higher reading DynoJets/etc.. My SL has very slim chance of making the TNT this Fri, as Warranty takes 7-10 days to pay for work about $3500, Ignition Coil Pack (believe Left side failed, they're repairing that + struts on trunk were failing, & SRS light just came on whn I dropped her offf....Lasty I'm paying outt've pocket for tune-up 24 top of line direct replacement 65 SP's

I'm down to hit Famoso if following TNT is agreeable to ALL or run vs you & Alan, finally @ Fontana (either way ET's/Traps will suffer greatly but racing is fun regardless, I think we can get Alan to run too (he has many new fine mods, & should be pushing 600 rwhp & 640-650 rwtq @ Autowave or ANY properly set DJ.

Sorry for monologue Rick, but just hit gym & drunk the big 16oz Sugar-Free caffiene-bomb Rockstar drink, I'm friggn' wired!!!!!

I'll send you my cell/PM lets set the details
