That's a very good description of it. It sounds like a European supercharged V8 should. I'm thinking I might eventually get long-tubes, but that might wake the neighbors.

 

does anyone have the model of the magnaflow muffler ? is it a single 3" in and single 3" out ?

Looks to be a single 3" in and double 2.5-3" out from the pics.

 

i have magnaflow on my srt-10. it's REALLY loud!

 

Sounds great, I would have cut a little more off so that they look more tucked into the bumper.

 

What mufflers are you using from Magnaflow? I watched the video from the guy with the cls 550 who had the mufflers on his car. It really didn't sound much different then stock. Does it sound different on the e55? Also, did you do anything else to your exhaust other the replace the stock mufflers? I have an 2005 e55 and am wanting to get a better sound from the exhaust but don't really think paying $1500-2500 bucks for mufflers is realistic. Please provide me with as much info as you can. It will be greatly appreciated.
