Dude, what the hell!

This is a two part mystery. First, how the heck did this happen? Second, how do I get this out??

looks like you will have to drill a large hole in the light from the out side immediately. free the poor animal then using a natural compound repair you light .

brought to you by PETA .

Ummmm, someone didn't check their build sheet when they purchased it.

Just helped a C63 guy confused about the same thing. It's a comfort/convenience option.

I've had the same problem with both tail lights and head lights. I just bought new lights.

JAKPRO; It took me a second to find it

I always thought it would be cool to have some live goldfish or maybe one of those fighting fish sealed into the headlights, I hear that might be an option on the 2011's

haters crazy
Can't really tell from the pic but there should be a bulb in the tail light where the bug is close to. If you pull out the bulb you can stick something in there to get that bug out.

What's funny is that I have a fly inside of my right reverse light and my wife has a fly in her 2009 right rear reverse light as well

You mean it until it disintegrate into tiny invisible pieces? Sounds like a plan. Also, I thought these lamps are sealed pieces with no bulb holes?

A Prius because I'm green
This could be a good thing! No tow truck can tow a vehicle in California if there is a live animal in it. Enjoy the free range parking

I had a small fly inside my instrument cluster once (R230 SL)...dealer wouldn't warranty it so I just left it inside until I sold the car lol.

HAHAHHHHAHAHHAHAHHAHHA

That is amazing, its gotta be good luck.

Upon further review that looks like the rarest of Tiger Moth. were you in or around LAX international terminal?

This Moth is common in Indonesia and often molts int a multi-colored barbed caterpillar. They have been known to grow to up to a foot in legnth especially in the presence of artificial light(brake, reverse light).
