I'm not a Lakers fan, so you won't find an argument with me. I think Kobe is a crybaby (not to mention a shameless adulterer), but living in LA I keep most of those comments to myself
I get more entertainment hearing from people who live in fly-over states that obviously missed school the day they taught plate-tectonics claiming that we will "fall into the ocean." LOL So Cal's incredible weather & lifestyle creates animosity and jealousy, and many poor land-locked schlubs justify their less than stellar living conditions by guessing about how bad the earthquakes, wildfires and gas prices are here.
To each his own

Sh*t, that stuff happens all the time in every US city. Drunken yahoos after a sports victory. Happens everywhere. What do you expect?

You all should start watching the World Cup and see how one sport unites the world. It feels so wonderful seen all the flags waving for the love of the game. No other sports closes down a country, stops wars, gives so much hope to people then the World Cup. Go Lakers, Go Mexico, and go United States of America.....

Liberal means we allow opposing thought. Too concerned with individual rights? I sure hope so, after all I always thought the country was founded on individual rights. Entitlements? Only what one is entitled to from those "individual rights."
So much debt? Hmmm, Arizona's real estate debacle surmounts the rest of the country:
Phoenix Business Journal: “Arizona ended 2009 with the nation’s second-highest home foreclosure rate, according to new research from RealtyTrac. More than 163,000 Arizona properties received foreclosure notices in 2009, or one in every 6.12 properties. Nevada, with a 10.17 percent foreclosure rate, was the only state with a higher rate than Arizona’s.”
Oh, and then there's this:
January 5, 2010
The State of Arizona has taken on an unprecedented amount of debt, $6.3 billion, despite a strict debt limit of $350,000. When local government debt is included, the total amount of debt for all levels of Arizona government swells to $37 billion. That's about $6,000 for every man woman and child in Arizona. In just four years, from 2004 to 2008, state and local debt in Arizona increased by more than $10 billion.

If you are saying Arizona is bad than California is in the gutter. The health care system alone probably has doublee the amount of debt of all Arizona budgets combined. I do not know California too well as far as cities, but Phoenix has hardly had any economic problems except for the housing, and I know a lot of towns in California are going under because of liberal spending and the "everyone is entitled to something attitude."

I am not a Lakers fan acutually a huge Celtics fan. They did not finish the game that is why they lost. I cant stand Kobe but I have to give him props. Over all he is the coldest player in the game right now. Jordan he's not but great player none the less.
No dis respect but who wants to watch soccer? It is boring IMO!!!

But there are plenty of backwoods fly-over suburbs in LA County. Palmdale/Lancaster is a good one. And then there's the hillbilly meth towns like Leona Valley and Gorman.
