Forgestars FTW on your ride. And the answer to you question is simply the fact that we are just like women in the aspect of the more pairs of shoes the better

BT - Are you gonna pick up Charlies Monolites or what man?!?!?!

Mr. Kool: Can't agree with Tal more; my personal reasons for getting rid of the forgestars is that I wanted a less aggressive look. I loved the forgestars - super light - complemented the car nicely and got compliments on them wherever I went...I really wish I had them for my MIR runs because I would have loved to see what the weight savings would have done for my times but in the end I wanted to revert back to a "stockish" look so that's why I went with 2 piece reps. Benz Elite - LOVE THOSE GUYS!!!!!!

Tal - I thought you were going after the monolites - I can't do them right now (other things stirring in the pot that's not car related - and the obligatory wife quote "you know - Mexico is coming in two weeks and I know you haven't calculated how much you're going to spend on scuba divings")

The money that is about to go to the 55 concerns my winter set up - one of my front stockers is cracked - priced the repair and it'll be about 200.00; priced a "re-furbished" stock wheel - 350.00; naturally, I said to myself, " self, you can get 4 for less than the price of two"; say hello to my new winter set up:

How would it affect the value when I go about selling the car years down the road...or should I even worry about that right now..

ANDDD...they are on. Steering def feels much lighter. Fronts currently have 235/35/18 but will be replaced with 245/40/18 next week so that should fill up the gap.

I am still not 100% sold on the looks though. The wheels are brand new. Thinking abt lowering with STAR but that wont be much.

opinions..!!!

Andrew, yours are 18 too.. They do look a little smaller than 18's on mine, may be coz they are a darker color.

Will see if it grows on me in a few weeks, if not, I will switch back to stockers and sell these. I always liked the SL wheels that have a little lip.

Agree 100% with Tal. Your ride will look sick after you drop it. The offsets of the Forgestars are spot on with a lowered w211!
