I drove my e55 this morning to work with out a problem. Then today later after work I heard a squeaky sound everytime I press the brake pedal. The brakes work fine. I thought I had a mouse in the car but no everytime I press the brake it squeaks but only when the car is on. Any thoughts on this or is this normal. Any help or suggestions appreciated. Thank you all

Air in the circuit. Very hard to bleed the system well. My 05 E55 did it new. The dealer re-bled at 2,500 miles and all was well... Sounds like a faint squeak up under the dash, right?

It sounds precisely in the brake pedal. And it sounds exactly like a mouse. How much to bleed the system? Also it only happen to me yesterday other then that has not happen. Any more ideas

You should have dealer (mention DTB P-B-42.46/43a), independent or anyone with SDS perform SBC air release routine, takes about 10–15 minutes.

Have the same problem of the squishy sound every time I step on the brakes. Had my brakes bled twice and it came back again. Have you solved this problem on your car?

Reviving an old thread, as after I replaced my driver's side front air strut today, I'm now hearing this squeak in my pedal. Is this service the only way to resolve it?

Ummmm...on the right side of the screen is SAVE OR PRINT THIS DOCUMENT. PDF is one of the choices.

Thanks, if a bleed is needed, I'll probably take it into my Indy and have them look at it, as I have no idea when the fluid was last changed and/or bled.
