There is a video somewhere online of a guy running 10.9 on slicks. Just tried to find it but I can't right now. I think that is a rare case. Car should run low 11 though. No racetracks in my state so I will not be finding out firsthand anytime soon.

I came from a M6 to the E55... Never looked back... for daily driver the E55 is the way to go... No complaints so far, and much better mpg. Only thing I miss is the super hard shifts in the m5/m6 lol. S6, p500s, dtc off = fun lol. I think the 500+ ft lbs of tq makes it for a fun car. The 385fttq in the m's is meh

Are you talking about the jeep that ran 10.9 or the e55. A guy in flordia just recently ran 9.8's in a tt jeep.

....I am still trying to digest the mugging you are going to take selling an SRT Jeep that is less than one year old. Yikes!!
I have driven all of them and come from having a couple of E36 M3s that I absolutley loved. The modification possibilities of the E55 were tempting, but I liked the overall E63 better, and factory warranty is a nice safety blanket.

Depends on what you are after as to which is the best choice. I have owned many cars including an E55 and M6 and have the following comments.
E55....
Pros:
Great daily driver.
Can roast most anything on the road with ease.
Very nice interior.
Lots of "gadgets on the options list".
Addictive low end torque.
Cheap to mod on a dollar per HP basis.
Cons:
Automatic tranny is very good but not great.
Traction control system is junk so it must be turned off.
Suspension is great around town but not very good for spirited driving.
M5/M6...
Pros:
Available as 6MT or SMG.
Exquisit V10 that while lacks torque runs VERY strong up top and is a real joy to drive.
Great extrem top speed car.
Gorgeous interiors when ordered with all options.
HUD system is a nice option.
Handles very well.
Cons....
Quick around town but not a stoplight racer by any means.
Many do not like the abrupt shifts of the SMG or want to own a manual.
Expensive to mod.
My personal conclusion....
Both cars are worth owning as they are very different and both could be owned at the same time. Life is long enough that budget permitting, their is time to own lots of great cars!
