need e55 owners manual
cant work it out the keyless start or how to turn the seats on so the alter on the bends has any one got one or a link to download must be amg 1 tho

Well this is how it works on my E63, I woulod assume that the E55 is the same, but I could be worng. You know what they say when you assume! With the keys in your pocket, just grab the drivers door handle, there is a sensor on the inside on the handle on mine and squeeze, the door comes open. Sitting inside the car, and say you want to turn on the radio, without pressing the brake pedal, push the engine start button on the shift lever. To turn the car on, press down on the brake pedal, and press the engine start button on the shift lever. If neither on these things work, you could have a dead battery inside your remote, or a problem with key-less go.

This is for all the modern Mercedes not the older ones, he has an 2003 E55. I was going to give him this as well, but it's not for this car. So it doesn't solve his problem.

fwiw, the online manuals go back as far as 2000.

Keyless Go instructions are on pages 32-33. Dynamic seat instructions on page 105 for the 2003 manual.

The E500 manual not going to be any different than the E55 (same car basically.)
