Sorry *******s, I recently I had 2 amps, a sub, dsp, and my component crossovers stolen out of my trunk and it happened in the front of my house. They even took my sun glasses.
I saw this pic in another forum as well.

His mama. Traded y0 mama in because she was squeaking.
At least the thieves were considerate enough to put wood blocks under the rotors so as to not damage them?...
Either that, or they REALLY wanted to keep the jack(s) they used as well.

Happened to a Honda Fit in the same neighborhood I live in. They even went to the trouble to plastic wrap all the street lights ![crazy](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/crazy.gif)

At least they couldve left the car on milk crates !!
old school move , jack car up , put milk crates underneath unbolt wheels and shake car and all 4 would drop at the same time .

So you are saying that VW owners steal the wheels, steal tires in the right size, steal hubrings and longer lugs for them to mount properly on the GTI? Interesting
Also, the wheels you posted on the GTI are replicas.
I wonder if there is a Jetta somewhere on the side of the road missing it's front grills because that GTI owner in the picture you posted must have stole them.

Car
Well it should since if I'm not mistaken all Mercedes come with a towing alarm and when tilt is detected when parked it should go off.

Hmm.. I bet this is an unintended consequence Mercedes didn't consider.
Dear VW,
Could you please change the bolt pattern on your wheels so the owners of your vehicles would stop stealing our rims?
Respecfully yours,
Mercedes Owners
But really, I doubt the VW guys are the ones stealing the rims. I don't think they could bring themselves to shaft another "car guy" but who knows.
I bet they put the wood under the rotors so the thieves could get their jacks out? Or maybe the VW guys did do it and couldn't bring themselves to scratch the BBK?

Then 4 guys, all at once, would cut the valve stems. Car would then lower equally on to the blocks, allowing easy removal of the wheels.
And, the alarm isn't triggered.
Thankfully, they were finally caught.

This happened last week to an M3 that was parked on our street, and an MB was vandalized. The thieves did the same wood block thing. It's not exactly a bad neighborhood either.
