I am intrested in this Guangdong, China part as well I would be in! I would take 1 of the 9 remaining if it is a minimum purchase amount issue.

This same diffuser is listed on e-bay but it states specifically that it is not for the E63....

I was chatting with the guy, He was asking 227 for 1 of them.

he wanted me to buy 10 @ 157 a piece.

i told him i only wanted one, and he's said He would do 5 orders @ 157 a piece.

He seemed desperate. AND will this fit on an e63?

I would buy 2 if it fits a e63 did he not specify? This is the worst, damn Eurotek screwed everyone. Another reason I hate vendors, always some form of BS. why would you have 0 supply on a demand product. Makes 0 sense from a business stand point. Arghhhh who needs a tune when u can't get a diffuser lol

This was done at our request not EuroTek's.... when we first started the diffuser project, no one wanted to join in except for 3 members. Initially, EuroTeck declined the project along with 7 other companies I spoke to. After 1.5 years of trying, I finally got Eurotek to agree to make it. However, the shortage of people caused the initial cost of designing the diffuser and producing it very high. After 4 months, I was able to rally 10 to 12 guys for the initial run but since they were sharing the very high cost of the diffuser, we decided to make it a limited edition item. Otherwise, we would have needed like 30 guys to participate in order to make the project happen.

In short, the limited edition setup is part of our agreement, which I posted in some of my earlier posts in this thread (and other threads as well).

Well guys sounds like this has problems written all over it. Given that the demand appears high for this item, is there any way to make another run happen?

The agreement states that they can NOT produce anymore until end of July/early August of 2011 as posted earlier in this thread. And even then, unless you want to pay almost $1000 per diffuser, you may want to get a much bigger number of willing participants. I would say 20 to 30 should do it.

I don't know if this has been posted... Or if it's possible which I don't see why it wouldn't be....

Why don't some of the E63 owners do the opposite of what us E55 owners do and facedrop your rear bumper to the E55? I know we put on E63 front ends, don't see why this could be much different in the rear. Just a suggestion, I know the cost may be a little high for this but it could in fact get the job done.

I love the way the EuroTeck E63 diffuser is, so mean looking with the dropped fins I would without question install a E63 rear end with one of those bad boys when/if they ever become available again

Well here's my take..you use paypal to buy the thing...if it doesnt workout than you should be able to make a claim saying the part was not as promised...i'm betting it will be a fit, but not sure on the overall quality, esp for $150ish...

I bet the quality is not bad not great, i thought about the paypal thing as well the question is will he sell 1 at a time or does he want to sell 5 minimum.

Also the shipping back if it sucks or does not fit wont be cheap either. If he requires buying 5 at once I will paypal whoever ASAP to make this happen.

KC

I respect the agreement but not sure I understand the reasoning for waiting to make some more of these. Usually, an agreement that delays further manufacture of an item is protecting the resale price of existing items. In this case, anyone with an existing diffuser produced from the first run could not practically resell, could they? Due to the time involved, should we just start trying to build a list for next summer? Anyway not trying to be overly persistent but this is a cool item that it seems many E63 owners should be able to get.
