Transmission Issues
The transmission on my E63 is shifting very harshly and now will accelerate slowly through the gears with no pressure on the gas pedal at all.... does this sound familiar to anyone.... ?

I sounds like you might need a valve body replacement. How does it shift in the C,S or M modes? I haven't experienced any tranny issues. My E63 has been flawless despite changing out the rear air struts, covered under warranty ;-) If you don't know what the issue is then, I would take it to the dealer and have it check out before anymore damage can be done to it.

It sounds like your problem may be different, but for what it's worth I just had my transmission fluid and filter replaced as part of annual maintenance, and it made a world of difference. Shifts much smoother. The tech told me the OEM fluid was DIRTY at 19K miles.

The issue per MB of Naples was indeed related to the valve body, which is being replaced tomorrow AM. Incidentally, they're doing a whole tranny fluid flush / replacement as well and replacing the gas pedal due to a "binding" circumstance that they found during the road test all on warranty of course.
