Who said it wont throw codes?Id like to read what they did.Are they using o2 sims?I just got brand new kleeman headers for 1k,not too bad if you look around the forum.
there are 2 02s that are post cats, the ecu will throw a code if you delete the cats.

you will NOT get any codes if you delete the 2nd cats -- == there are no O2 sensors after the 2nd cats -- So, the car wont even know they are gone -- You only get codes if you take out the primary cats -- You have nothing to worry about --
I have NEVER heard anyone say they have codes from removing their 2nd cats -- I certainly don't and i did not tune for it --
I know sKratch77 has been a member longer than me but i have never heard anyone else state that -- and i have researched nearly ever 2nd cat removal thread on here.
You will only get tiny improvements by removing them 'sound and hp' --- headers are the biggest restriction in our exhuast system -- but removing cats is a very simple/cheap mod - just stop teeter-totting and do it
best gains will always involve a tune but its not needed for this mod

I can second that ^^^^^
Remove the secondary cat and resonator will help with the sounding and some + net gain power. And no, it will not set off your check engine light. Only removing the primary cats will set off check engine light.

thanks guys for clearing that up.
I think skratch was under the impression i was removing the primary. I am only doing secondary and resos. I will stop "teeter-totting" and DO IT
