Tranny problem?
The other day, at WOT, in S mode, my car didn't shift into 2nd very easily.

It bounced off the rev limiter & i let off the gas...then it shifted.

Anyone have this happen?

Also, i've been noticing a feeling coming from underneath the center of the car like a harsh downshift, but not from the tranny...torque converter??

I was reading on the C32 forum about Glycol contamination...was this an issue on the E55?

yes it is an issue on the early built 03. but since you have a 04 you should be fine.

I had the same issue on harsh downshifts, esp at low speeds. It was the torque converter that was replaced under warranty.

'05 e55, '03 m3 cab, '01 m5, '95 m3
you have to take it to the dealer and check for codes in etc. very posible
that might be the speed sensor from the conductor plate on the valve body.
