Part Help...

Any idea on how/where I could order the mercedes star that clips in to the top of the engine block? Mine has gone missing which makes me wonder where exactly it went. Anyway, any help is appreciated.

I believe you have to purchase the entire engine cover.. Someone can correct me if I'm mistaken.

Mine is also gone. Saw someone on here used an ebay badge and it looked great. I'm going to try that.

Let me know if you find it... I looked on ebay and couldn't find anything. Thanks.

yup, mine's gone, too, and i've been told you have to replace that section of the engine cover.

Strange how several of you are missing this part. But, I can't imagine you have to replace the entire engine cover as you can clearly see how the part "pops" into place and is not a part of the entire piece. I am going to call a friend today who is an "expert."
