Sorry to hear that you guys had bad luck with the conditions. It's very hard to predict sometimes. The event looked fun as heck though.... I still wish I was there ![bow](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bowdown.gif)
Ahmad, I hear many guys mention that there were too many cars this time around.... why were there that many cars in a private event? If they were all cars that were accounted for, maybe you guys should break it up into 2 days![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)

Eurocharged 2004 E500, Eurocharged ECU/TCU 2005 SL600, 2010 Caddy SwaggerWagon
nothing new for me. Broken rear parts again but on my S65 this time. During the burnout the left wheel caught and led to a big crunch. I must have a black cloud over my head with parts breakage. The pinion sheared at the rear end housing...a familiar sight as my s600 broke the exactly same way but under the influence of n20. Only difference was the s600 broke on the starting line. Best run of the day was nothing special as the track was unusually slick....not the typical MIR track prep. Ran against Clayton in his SL600 for my best pass of 11.61@123.06. Crappy 1.95 60'. He could muster an impressive 1.80 with his 20" street tires which was baffling to me. One wheel burnouts suck!! My car would tire shake and thump with a half throttle launch. Next time will be different.
Too bad you broke, Stephen. It seems like if you didn't have bad luck at the track, you'd have no luck at all. I got my ECU tweaked at the track and it started running consistent 11.6x. I would've loved to have line these bad boys up again after that.
You're lucky I only cut a 1.80 60'. My current personal best, and I believe a record for street tires, is a 1.70 on those same 20's.

Steve, good meeting you yesterday. I dig your license plate!![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Your car is a beast, and still love the 600ft+ burnout that your girlfriend laid down. It was a smoke show that brought on a standing ovation!! Seriously. She can drive the heck out of that car!![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
There were a lot of cars there, but that wasn't the problem. The problem was that MIR had reserved the track for the outlaw group as well. Having a full group of street cars was a blast, I thought. We got to run against 997tts, vipers, GTRs, new mustangs etc. So, not only was it fun for racing but also for spectating.

At least Mercedes/AMG stand behind their vehicles. CPO is replacing the rear in my car. One less thing to worry about. Only problem...same crappy rear with the peg-leg. Limited slip may be the next upgrade. You E-class guys never seem to break anything in the rear. Should be fixed next week as they had to order the rear from Germany.

[QUOTE=Sunir;4258979]Do they make a quaiffe for your car?
Only for the V-8 cars. The rear in the V-12 S and CL are different. I had a Kleemann upgrade in my S600 which worked great. I may have to go the same route. Damn...breaking parts sucks big time. I should be used to it by now.
