07 E63 Ipod Command function and display
2007 E63 Factory installed Ipod kit question:
What should I see on the dash/command system?
My car would only play my "factory" integrated Ipod through the AUX setting...i had to control the Ipod on the Ipod interface, so I took it to the dealer. Now the MB logo shows on the Ipod and I can manage the Ipod on the steering wheel. The missing piece seems to be the dashboard. I do not see any menu items on the dashboard. My Ipod has 2500+ songs controlled by the -/+ buttons on the steering wheel. Should I see the Ipod menu on the dash?
My dealer has already spend two days getting the Ipod from AUX in the glove-box to a toggle on the steering wheel. They said it's running as expected. Is this as good as it gets? My other cars have a full menu on the dash.

Thanks for letting me know the Ipod does not show on the Command interface.
I went by and picked up Ipod integration book from MB. The book shows the navigation menu. Now I can surf playlists, artists, etc from the buttons on the wheel.
