Nice weather!!

One of my favorite movie is XXX!! I love the part where XXX and the girl in the GTO trying to track down the submarine. They raced thru the small country road and the GTO just make this incredible squealing sound everytime XXX smash the gas.

99% of the time I drive my car with the windows up, AC on, and music on (not loud). Today, we finally have some decent weather (mid 70 and almost 0% humidity) so AC off and windows down. I'm driving to work taking the back road, less traffic and more turn. I noticed that after some turns my car would make some sqealing sounds. Music off, more gas. Damn, my four door luxury cruiser is making music. After every turn I would give my car a little more gas than usual, the tires would squeal like a pig and the traction light would lit up. I can't believe it. My car is making the same sound as the GTO.

Anyway, I need to roll the windows down more often. And if this weather hold up to tonite I may head to the track and hopefully better my time . I hope you guys enjoy your car like I do .

I wish it was in the '70s here. When I left work, the cluster temp showed 102°.

Well, headed for the track last night. Got there right at elemination time so no time trial for me. Sat there and waited for two hours and no run. First was a Corvette some how got into the wall, that took half an hour to clean up. Three cars later, another sprayed coolant down the entire length of the track on a bye run. I left then, it was 9:30 pm. I'm getting too old for this crap!!

Sorry to hear that. Nothing worse than getting all revved up for something only for it to fall flat.

Windows don't come down in this part of the world, probably until Nov, so the sweet sound of music will have to wait till then ! About two weeks ago, outside temp reading was 52 degrees , all I can say it's like a furnace and AC is working overtime
