Quote: yup... been trying to buy it from jangy since 9-12 months ago.. and does VREDESTEIN Tyres have any tyre size for it..? jangy say 265/35/18 and 295/30/18.

btw: james, if you send to me, I need you to send me a replacement HID ballast also. I will call you on that.
Anson,

they make the 265/35 18 but do not make the 295/30 18. In the 18" they do not make a 30 series

If you want to run those sizes, I'd suggest the hankook V12 evo K110's.

Let me know if you want us to mount the tires before we ship them up to you. HID ballast is not a problem, give me a call later.

I am sure that James has the scoop on tires, but one helpful tid bit may be that the standard 996 rear has been a 295/30 made by pirreli (spelling?) - P zero. The ratings are all off, but I loved them and ran accross them cheap since I had lots of 911 friends getting PS2s The lighter wheels really test the traction of your tires. One slip and its SMOKE!!!!

It depends on your price desires.

The P zero is only good because you can get them occasionally as take-offs of 991s cheap. I don't think they are cheap on tire rack.

V12 is good because James can likely give you a good deal and your front and rears will match.

The Yokohama advans are r rated tires. I am a kook and so I ran them on my car and LOVED them. It was an expensive 3k miles but I loved every minute.

I love them, a lot of our p car customers are running them as they are compared to the PS2 but at half the price. At $760 for the set, you can't go wrong with them.

The RE050 A pole positions are nice, but I dont think you'll be disappointed with the hankooks.
