Splitting the cooling system. What components did you guys use?
So I am looking at seriously splitting my cooling system because of the mods I am planning on doing very soon. I wanted to do the split in the engine bay and not in the trunk (trunk is too hardcore for me). I was wondering what parts and did you guys use to split? Which reservoir? Which brackets, which fittings (if any)? Thanks.

I had my Indy did my set up, but I purchased a PS reservoir form a BMW 5 series, including their bracket. Got the stuff from a local Auto Zone.
The shop got all the fittings local as well. The bracket bolts right onto an existing spot in the engine bay. It touches the hood liner in that spot, but not so much as it becomes a problem.
Here is a shot of it mounted towards the front left (with the red cap).

split cooling system
question; the reservoir is a BMW 5 series what year and engine and u ordered the backets with it. So the heat exchanger is connected and the reservoir returns to it after going through intercooler correct.. Badm Thanks
