This is gonna blow if they have to replace Stig. Sounds so stupid, but it really was the ONLY way we really had a look at what ALL these supercars could do against each other...kinda on an equal playing field. Same driver who knows the course front and back with relatively similar conditions.
Now with the new driver all we are gonna hear is, "Well he isn't or is as good as Stig, thus the better or worse times"
Was good while it lasted.

From what I have heard its not always one guy anyway but from a selection of GP2 drivers or equivalent etc... at least thats what the chaps at Palmer Sport told me.
From what I have seen these GP2 guys are so close and so good I doubt it would matter in the manner they do their timing there....
The show is good in its reviews but the rest is getting pretty stupid ....
