Let's start as early as possible and keep the same 6 o'clock quiting time. The track gets too slippery towards the end of the night and things could get ugly. Famoso cools down very very fast....

Mo's lagging this year, the year before he had the weather calender posted online to keep us all up to date. Where's the love Mo...?????

I'm hoping for clear skies with 55 degree weather, anything close to zero DA with low humidity will be great!

It's still too early to be certain, but the weather.com 10 day forecast is calling for clear skys and temps in the 60's.

So far the weather is looking very good at Famoso for the 20th.... they're predicting a high of 67 F with sunny skies and 0% chance of percipitation. Guys, you have to remember though... it's a little too early to stress about the weather. What I learned over the past couple of years from doing this is that unless you check 2 to 3 days before the target date, the weather "guesses" don't mean much

i think the best da's will be before 11am. any set time on when the runs start. 7am sounds nice.......

I would be there in a heartbeat if I could, but I can't attend on Saturdays. I could come after 6:30 pm but I think you guys will be done by then. If you guys plan a private rental any other day of the week, I'm there. I'm not sure if that's feasible, but you never know.

I think the DA will be anywhere from 500-1000. Unfortunately it's very rare that we'll ever see DA like the east coast. Either way, I consider anything under 1000 to be very good weather. Also keep in mind that Famsoso is at 600+ feet elevation.

Last November, we had a DA that started out around 200 ft and climbed to 375 ft then kept dropping all the way down to -82 ft around 6:30 pm. I hope we get something similar this year.

I just got off the phone with Rich from DC. The owner of the E55 is out of state with the car right now. I really wanted to bring that car too. Rich really wants to bring his STI.

A load style dyno. Usually DD's and mustangs are the most popular.

I'm in the same boat, and well... I seriously doubt Ill go at this point. I am still going to finish up my parts this week, but there is no way to get my tune fixed, and I don't want to drive 5 hours to watch. Oh well. There will be other events. I am e-mailing Jeremy now, and will see if there is any chance of getting in this week, but again.. not looking good

+1 on reinforcement! I'd love to finally meet everyone from the board since I'm traveling such a long-D. Speaking of which I have quite the deadline on my end as well haha the car isn't finished yet and It'll have to be sent out on Tuesday to make it in time for Famoso... AND i'll still need a tune haha
