Big Problem, 172mm Pulley install Disaster
reading this makes me not want to install a 168 pulley when I find one
legit you like signed up last month...If you have no info or help stay out of his thread
to the op,it looks like you work at a dealer or have access to a shop so the labor is all on you, good luck and I hope you can use your crank and not have to take the engine apart or worst need a new engine.

the worst is even if you fix the crank you have that fear of driving around with an unballanced crank that is waiting to blow up on you later down the road.

The key-way just defines the position of the pulley on the snout .. important, but once the pulley is on and torqued down its of no real consequence ... so if you can get the pulley on correctly aligned and torqued down you will be good. The other issue you may have is the slimming of the snout from the loose pulley ... that is more problematic....

I think the best advice is get it back together under whatever temporary fix you can and trade it ASAP!
In the end, the new (used) motor is just cheaper.
Either way, GOOD LUCK!! You in SD?
