Maybe Another Reason to wait for 04 E55!
Just annouced at the New York Auto Show (NYIAS) - The 2004 models will have the option of Sirius Satallite Radio Subcription.
There is a W211 E55 on the NYIAS floor which they reported is equipped with Sirius.

BTW, does Comand with voice mean that we could give addresses of destination by voice?
I saw such systems in a telematics conference in Berlin about 5 years ago. They were nice.

Satallite Radio is Music from outerspace. There are 2 companys providing digital music from satallites in orbit. They are 'Sirius' and 'XM'. It is a subsciption service costing about $10 per month.
Satallite Radio can also be installed at home or added to any car by your local Circuit City, Best Buy, etc.
Sat Radio has nothing to do with Mercedes COMAND nor GPS Satallite Navigation.
