anyway just to clarify I run a 50/50 mix of crappy california chevron 91 and erc's 100 so that should bring me to 95/96 octane. I believe that they run 93 octane on the east coast and in southern states so I call the octane issue a wash!
also I've never had anything in my sig other than quickest & fastest stock E55 or quickest & fastest stock powered E55 on DR's and finally quickest & fastest stock on DR's. I've never mentioned boost only because my car is stock other than the drag radials.

my best time on street tires & chevron 91 was 12.07@118.65

oh I just remembered that I did have quickest & fastest on the west coast at one time (Max where you at? :-) ) and just before I past the great Enzom and his beast I had the 2nd quickest & fastest stock E55 in the country

Hey Mo do you remember back in Dec of 07 when Sean came up with you guys with his E55? He was a stage 1 correct? wasn't running 11.7@120ish right? I know that it was a different day and all but I do know the weather was around 50 degree's and if you were to compare his stage 1 times with my stock times (both of us on drag radials) it would be a close match don't you think?

I agree 100%. Whenever I beat my PB on my ET's all other splits followed.

If your track wasn't so far away I would head up and run with you. Sounds like it would be worth your while to head down to NJ and try a better prepped track.

i agree the harder u launch ur car the better ur ET and MPH is going to be .. how can u launch car softly and expect high trap makes no sense . angelo if u want to really find out put drags on it and floor it out of the hole u will see a difference .. get that beast of urs in the 11's the way it sits.... dyno's are only good for tuning the real test is tracking it

Yes I remember. On that day, there were like 8 E55s but none of them were stock. Your car still out trapped all of them except for Shawn's car. He actually ran 11.7x @ 120 mph on BFG drag radials.

Hammer, you should bring your car to Famoso and compare/validate trap speeds. Sacramento's trap speeds have been tainted too much online and there will always be some people who will cry about the whole trap speed and beam distance thing at Sacramento. Heck... I am still getting some grief for the whole 118.9 mph trap thing on other forums and on YouTube LOL Anyways, even besides running your car, the event is always incredibly fun and you get to hang out with a great and passionate group of people

and a 2010 E63 w/ tune put down 397hp on a DynoDynamics.. Dyno numbers are worth exacly the same as the paper they are printed on. You just use it to see gains between mods (on same dyno)

I forgot the important part.. You see your A/F ratio through the entire power band so that 30 minutes after you leave the tuner your car doesn't go KA-BOOM!

Question- Is Famoso year around? Seems like everone is prepin', and I want to make a drive up there. Just don't want to get there and find out WallyWorld is closed for the winter

Vinny what do you think im doing lol.

Im dynoing it to see my gains from mods and taking it to the track,I keep making more power on the SAME dyno and trapping faster at the same track!!!!

what more can I do,its not my fault the stupid guys at ned wont prep the damn track,I had drag radials on last summer and best 60ft was 1.87,they would spin like the track was wet.

Ill call you tom morning if your goin to be up,shes hitting the dyno hard to see what these headers and air box added.

a/f should be perfect but just need to make sure before the pulley goes on.

I might go a little crazzy and run 30deg timing and 110oct just to break 123mph and end the stock boost record lol

I go to the same dyno and use it to see whats going on,along with dynos that show more power I have time slips that show faster traps.

will see what she does,but dyno says 30whp from headers and aribox.

and just so everyone knows,Iv had a 180,172 and now going with a 168 pulley on my car.

so I know what 30whp feels like

They are not open year around, they have a limited calender for TNT days. You might want to give Irwindale a try to practice your launches.

Why would you make sure AFR's are perfect before sticking a larger pulley on, shouldn't you check it afterwards.....

Have you guys ever checked out HRP, they have a stock E55 trapping 118.5 at 11.8 with street tires....hmmm.

I think your tune is fine,do you have the a/f for your pulls?

I would change your plugs to see if your top end gets better,your car knocked 3 times hard up top end from your dyno sheet.

How many miles are on your plugs?

Iv added a few things and kept the same tune,my mechanic messed up my o2for my wide band and I have no idea what they are now with the headers on and new airbox.

I will tweak it once the pulley is on also.Like if its really lean I wont drive it with the pulley installed

IM not stock boost anymore,car lost boost from the headers and cat delete,made 433whp tho and pulled all the way to 6500rpms.She is also to lean to even run a 168pulley but fine the way she sits now on stock pulley.

I have an itch for a 175pulley now to get me where I want to be for power.Just wished kleemann would bring back the 172 since that would act like a 168 on my car.

ps might have 3 e55s hitting the track tonight!!!

a 168 wouldn't be bad I know Vinny ran 10.9 with a 168.hmmmm but I also would mind going 172 or 175. After I get my car smog'd in the next couple of months I will start to mod then. I want to do a few mods, LT's,TB,CAI,ECU,TCU & 16 MT's to see where that will get me. If I'm happy with the results then I'm done and will then retire. My goal is to have a consistent 11.1-11.3@125-128 type times and that's good enough for me.

Houston Raceway. It's fully stock E55 with street tires with the temps in the mid 50's. From my understanding HRP sits at seal level, good prep, and runs fast. His name is housclass or something close to that.

oh Housclass has been around forever, he ran his time before Enzom did, his run is on drag times. He made that run about 5yrs ago

my best 60ft tonight was 1.825 and all were over 2.0 after the track got cold

my brothers bone stock e55 was trapping 111-112 all night
