Let's hurry up and get that bad boy in my car and we'll put it to the test. I drive the crap out of my car the way it was intended to be driven. Just tell me when and you know I'll drop my car off in a heartbeat...lol.

I'll have a kit going in as soon as Scott has the time. I'll report back once we get some good logs and from there I'm sure he'll have much more details on pricing and availability.

I am also up for this kit ... I think a dedicated tune would bring the best out ... Allowing more agressive timing wrt to boost.

I have a couple of questions: (1) On a long (let's say 25 seconds) WOT pull will the IAT remain substantially lower? In other words, is there sufficient BTU capacity to maintain lower IAT for more than a few seconds? (2) What is the recovery time after a WOT pull? I would assume most of you don't need reduced IAT for more than 12 seconds.
The KC videos are impressive, however the pulls are for only a few seconds, so we don't know what the IAT's would be beyond that.

Where in the heck do you have room to do a 25 second WOT pull? Unless you're entering your car in the Texas Mile? I don't know about you, but I don't think I've ever been able to run my car wide open for 25 seconds. For most people, any IAT increase after 12-15 seconds is moot.
This operation is about 45 minutes from me. They have much higher capacity bolt on IC's for the E55 and when used with a higher capacity HE, provide a significant reduction of the IAT.

The A60, the Nordschleife (about 45 minutes from me) and occasionally Hockenheim (about an hour away). I previously acknowledged that most of you are only interested in 12 seconds or less. My interests lay elsewhere.

Ahhh, saw Florida and Texas in your profile, but some how missed the Germany part.

On a nice day with me driving, about 9 minutes 30 seconds. With a friend who is a pro and has won at the Nordschleife and has more than 1000 laps we are looking for around 7:45, perhaps 7:35. The car is pretty stout with lightweight brakes, LSD, various suspension improvements and we will use some real sticky Toyos. Compared to the way it came from AMG . . . well there is no comparison. But this will probably have to wait until we return next summer as we are running out of usable days as far as the weather goes.
