If I end up doing this one day I'm ordering 2 cans just so I can have a can of synthetic jet engine oil sitting on my shelf. Seems kinda cool to me for some reason.

Luckily I had some time today and just changed my SC oil.
I found the best way to remove the drain \ fill hex plug fastener was to cut down an old 5mm allen key with my angle grinder as the space is very confined and then use a long ball ended allen to remove it from the SC. I was very careful to remove the plug as the last thing I wanted to do was drop it into the nether lands of the engine (tiny bit nerve racking):
I found that the best way to remove the old oil from the SC after carefully removing the plug was to manually siphon it out using good old lung vacuum rather than using a syringe that worked for others.
I was able to find the perfect 5-mm diameter flexible tube (very important as the hole on the SC is very small) and pushed it as far into the SC as possible (a length of 5.25-in) to draw out the old oil and the total oil capacity of the SC is 125ml. I also placed two floor jacks under the rear of the car to assist the oil draining towards the front.
The old SC oil was extremely dirty and as everyone mentioned had quite a pungent smell. My car has a little over 50K.
As you can see from the above picture the new OEM MB oil is clear and very light weight (low viscosity thus easy to pour) almost like a machine oil.
I did use a 60ml syringe to carefully push the new oil into the SC and also used liquid teflon on the threads of the plug for a good seal. Note that these threads are teflon coated from the factory. Total time required was just over an hour.
Regards.

Nice, my OEM oil is sitting at the shop. Might as well get that done too some time this week or the next. That small bottle is pretty damn expensive! Wonder why it's different in color in comparison to the stock oil and the Mobil Jet II oil.

The question you pose is an interesting / intriguing one. I am not certain of the weight and composition of the Mobil Jet Oil and if I had a sample I would like to compare them. I am assuming the stock oil is the same as the clear oil in the bottle and it is dirty after 50K miles and being seven (7) years old.

I'm still wondering why the Mercedes oil is clear and maybe different viscosity than the stock/Jet oil. You guys sure this isn't for the older C230 or whatever kompressors or something?

A 000 989 62 01 is intended for the m271 and m111 superchargers. MB recommends Mobil Jet Oil II for the m112 and m113 superchargers. See page 12 of the attached pdf.

Aw man, my gut feeling told me something was wrong and that's why I hadn't changed the oil ever since I ordered it. Thanks for clarifying the info for me! I will now go ahead and order some Jet Oil II.

i changed my sc oil, i could took out like 90ml, and it take 200/220 ml to refill to the bolt, and it is running good and no oil out from sc pulley bolt.

I stuffed a plain white terry cloth rag under there, and packed it in as tightly as it could go. It totally filled in the gap under the hole, so the screw fell and rested right there on it. Easily retrieved with a magnetic wand. It also soaked up the poop oil that trickled out while working.

Oil with part number 000 989 62 01 is used for Eaton type supercharger found on M271 engines. The reason for Mercedes service to give this oil when asked about supercharger oil is that this is the only oil they have listed as supercharger oil.
IHI twinscrew superchargers don't need supercharger oil change (according to Mercedes). If oil has to been added then the supercharger is threated as a faulty unit.

Most all of us use the JetII oil and this been posted here on DIY for years now. I check my oil every year and top it off or change it, as it seems to get low first and then turn brown from heat. Low oil is a SC killer!
